Cladagh Glen Scout Centre
Situated along a wooded glen, Cladagh Glen Scout Centre is named after the Cladagh river formed in the depths of the Marble Arch Caves.
This 4 acre site, located in the most picturesque of surroundings, in an ancient ash wooded Glen, is indeed a beautiful site within the Marble Arch Caves UNESCO Global Geopark.
Our grounds consist of a very comfortable residential property together with a large camp site providing outdoor space for camping and onsite games and activities. An open campfire area close by, with huge boulders for seating, is ideal for visitors to spend the end of an active day with fallen firewood in abundance onsite.
Recently extended and freshly refurbished to a high standard in 2019, the Scout Centre can accommodate a group of up to 28 comprising of 4 dormitories, two of which can sleep 3 with ensuite facilities and two larger dorms up to 10 and 12 respectively. The main entrance leads to a boot room which provides adequate space for outdoor clothing and boots however the added bonus of the drying room next door is extremely beneficial in damp weather after a hike in the nearby hills or a caving trip.
